Arches National Park

So we've come pretty far since The Great Sand Dunes and have a lot of pictures to put up. After the Sand Dunes we headed north and visited Haejin's brother. We were lucky enough to arrive for the first ski day of the season and went out our first morning there! I'll have to post those pictures up late since they're on another camera. Our stay at Young's was great and well timed, we just barely missed driving through a huge snow storm that passed through our route- on I-70, through one of the most dangerous stretches of highway in the country.

From Colorado we headed southwest to Moab, UT where we visited Arches NP as well as Canyonlands NP. We only had time to upload the photos from Arches but we will get to Canyonlands as soon as we can.

Blogger.com has made some weird changes to how we upload photos so these next pictures are in the wrong order. First you'll see Arches NP, then earlier stuff from our drive.

We thought this looked Egyptian-esq

We had just stopped at a scenic overlook to take pictures and heard loud screech above us, we looked up and saw this golden eagle!
