After a great Kentucky breakfast at Dairy Barn we began the long drive to Colorado.
At first the plains and farms were cool to see and scenic. Neither of us had ever seen the vast prairie and farmlands of the midwest before.
We've seen some pretty interesting vehicles and drivers along the way, but the car being towed by a chain in heavy highway traffic has been the best so far.
We came across a huge windmill farm in Kansas, these pictures don't nearly do its' size justice.
As we left Kansas and entered Colorado the flat and barren land began to get boring, in Eastern Colorado we drove for hours without seeing a single gas station, house or any other sign of civilization.
Yeah man, Colorado is really damn boring basically until you get to Denver
